Born and raised in Syria, but now an absolute global citizen. In just a few years, muhammara has stolen hearts everywhere. So, this delightful spread couldn't be missing from our tapas selection. Our mix includes tomatoes and peppers rescued from waste. And they were so grateful for that! Their flavors combined with pomegranate will hit you like a bomb. Muhammara tastes like more and more and more.

In a snap on the snack table

In the jar, you'll find a mix of low-temperature dried peppers and tomatoes, along with freeze-dried pomegranate seeds, sunflower seeds, garlic, oregano, and a bit of chili. Just add water and olive oil, let it steep for half an hour. Then a quick blend with an immersion blender and it's ready to serve!

Make an impact!

By the way, the peppers and tomatoes in this mix were rescued from waste. They were either too big or too small for the supermarket. Pure madness. And now they're shining in our jar, waiting to show their immense gratitude. And you can taste it!

How to make it?

  1. Add 45 ml extra virgin olive oil and 35 ml water to the jar, stir and let it steep for half an hour.
  2. Puree with a food processor or immersion blender. If it's a bit too dry for your taste, add a small splash of olive oil.
  3. Season with salt and pepper and serve.

Store in the refrigerator and consume within 5 days.
